The National Education Association’s Bag the Junk program provides resources to help student health advocates combat childhood obesity. Burness helped Bag the Junk brand its national Smart Snacks Roundup competition, where educators, food service professionals, students, parents, and school administrators creatively shared their successes in implementing USDA Smart Snacks regulations. Designs were implemented both in print (posters, flyers, ads) and via social media.
